For persons who (1) hold a graduate degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology or speech and hearing science, or (2) hold a graduate degree and present evidence of active research, interest and performance in the field of communication disorders. |

Associate Member

For persons who (1) hold a Bachelor’s Degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology or speech-hearing science, or (2) have completed an associate degree in a speech-language pathology assistant program. Associate membership is not available for those who qualify for Member status. |

Affiliate Member
|
|
For any person with an interest in the field of communication disorders. This membership category is available only to persons not eligible for other categories. |

Recent Graduate
|
|
For persons who have held a MNSHA student membership for at least one year at the time of graduation and are renewing as a full two-year member. |
|
Student Member
|
|
For persons enrolled full-time in an accredited training program and preparing for a degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology or speech-hearing science. |
Life Member - Must meet eligiblity criteria.

For persons who have been members in good standing for at least ten years and who have (1) reached the age of 60 years and retired from professional practice or (2) been disabled and are unable to maintain professional practice. |

For persons with Associate or Bachelor’s degrees who have been members in good standing for at least ten years and who have (1) reached the age of 60 years and retired from professional practice or (2) been disabled and are unable to maintain professional practice. |
MNSHA membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for U.S. federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible as a business expense. MNSHA estimates that 20% of your dues are not deductible because of MNSHA’s lobbying activities on behalf of its members.
